- Mythic Quest, one of the earliest original series developed for Apple TV+, has officially come to an end. The show, which followed a team of eccentric developers behind a massively popular MMORPG, aired its final episode on March 26.
- However, the story isn’t quite over. According to the creators, Apple has approved a revised version of the finale that will serve as a proper send-off for the series. This updated episode is expected to release sometime during the week of April 14–20.
- Created by Rob McElhenney — who also starred in the show and is widely known for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia — Mythic Quest received praise for its witty writing, sharp industry satire, and heartfelt character arcs. Over the course of its run, the series produced four seasons, a few special episodes, and a spinoff titled Side Quest.
- Despite its warm reception from both critics and viewers, Apple has not provided a reason for the show's cancellation.
