Display your MWZ skills by obtaining the esteemed Bone Collector skin.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's MWZ mode, engaging story quests await, offering exclusive cosmetics and XP upon completion. Players accomplishing most of these missions gain access to the coveted Bone Collector skin, a prestigious reward that demands considerable commitment.
Securing this operator skin may pose a challenge for both solo and casual players, yet it remains within reach. This guide elucidates the process of acquiring the Bone Collector skin in Modern Warfare Zombies, providing a solo-friendly breakdown of the final Act 3 mission that grants this unique skin. Additionally, we'll outline how to utilize this skin in both Zombies and Multiplayer once it's unlocked.
How To Unlock The Bone Collector Skin

The Bone Collector skin becomes accessible after successfully finishing the initial three Acts in MWZ. This distinctive operator skin is attained by completing the "Defeat Zakhaev" mission, which serves as the culmination of Act 3. The specific tasks for each mission can be checked in the MWZ pre-game lobby.
Given that the first three Acts must be tackled sequentially, you'll have to complete a total of 47 missions to obtain this skin. The positive aspect is that solo players can achieve this. It's worth noting that none of the Act objectives necessitate team play. Nevertheless, be prepared for some challenging missions, particularly in Act 3.
Defeat Zakhaev Mission Walkthrough

The concluding mission in Act 3 proves quite challenging, though arguably easier than the Shepherd mission in Act 2. Defeating Zakhaev involves a boss fight and numerous mercenaries, so it's crucial to ensure your character is fully equipped before embarking on this mission. Equip a three-plate vest, have at least one Self-Revive Kit (more if you're going solo), and gather as many perks as possible. Additionally, having a T3 Pack-A-Punched weapon is advisable.
Prioritize Pack-A-Punching your weapons and acquiring all perks before initiating the Zakhaev exfil. Any items and upgrades you carry will persist in the instanced mission.
When you feel prepared, head to the exfil location labeled "Defeat Zakhaev" on your map, distinguished by a gold star similar to other story missions. Board the helicopter upon its arrival to commence the mission.
Proceed To Zakhaev's Facility

Upon touchdown, your mission involves entering a facility located near the center of the map. The entrance is heavily guarded by numerous mercenaries, so proceed with caution during this phase. Utilize a long-range weapon to eliminate the mercenaries from a safe distance. Beyond the shoreline, you'll encounter a set of rigged proximity mines—destroy them by shooting to neutralize the threat.
Deeper within the compound, several inconspicuous shipping containers house T2 zombies, possessing the same difficulty as the Medium Threat zone. While not overly challenging to defeat, these zombies can divert your attention from the mercenaries guarding the adjacent facility. Step back, eliminate the zombies, and then advance into the facility.
Plant The Explosive Charges

Inside the facility, a compact band of mercenaries will stand guard. Two snipers will be strategically positioned on the catwalks of the second floor, making it crucial to eliminate them first. For solo players, it's advisable to reach the rooftop initially and engage enemies from an elevated position. Alternatively, if entering the ground floor, consider luring zombies inside to divert the soldiers' attention.
Once the area is secure, proceed to plant explosives on the enrichment device. After completing this task, exit the facility to initiate the next objective. Be cautious, as a small army of mercenaries awaits you outside.
Get To The Neutralizer

Jensen's Neutralizer device is situated on the western edge of the map, once again protected by a modest group of mercenaries. Adjacent to it, within a nearby warehouse, you can discover an ammo cache—a convenient opportunity to replenish your ammunition. Take the initiative to eliminate the soldiers, reload your weapons, and make sure to equip all available armor plates.
A helicopter will appear, aiming to eliminate your team. Its behavior mirrors that of helicopters encountered in Escort Contracts. You need not fully destroy it; inflict damage until it hovers in close proximity to the warehouse.
Defeat Orcus

A colossal worm creature will burst forth from the ground, annihilating the helicopter. Your mission now requires defeating Orcus to successfully conclude. Although the creature may seem imposing, it possesses only three methods of inflicting harm:
- Orcus can burrow into the ground and resurface beneath you, launching you into the air.
- Orcus will inhale before unleashing a massive energy beam, slightly offset to the left or right of your character.
- Orcus will generate Dark Aether orbs that track your location; eliminate these orbs by shooting them.
Apart from these threats, focus on damaging the boss with your weapons until it perishes. The glowing purple segments serve as weak points and sustain critical damage from all weapons. If equipped with Deadshot Daiquiri, the damage is doubled, making weapons with high critical damage particularly effective against this boss.
Stay near a building during the battle to shield yourself from Orcus' laser attack. Take advantage of opportunities to shoot its weak points, manage any spawning zombies, and you should be able to defeat the boss within a few minutes. The mission concludes once Orcus is vanquished.
How To Equip The Bone Collector Skin

The Bone Collector skin is applicable in both MW3 Multiplayer and MWZ. This skin is associated with the Ripper operator for Specgru. In MWZ, choose the Ripper operator in the "Strike Team" tab and opt for the Bone Collector skin before recruiting them.
For Multiplayer, navigate to the "Operators" tab, explore the Specgru options to locate Ripper, and press the "Customize" key to select the Bone Collector skin.
In Multiplayer, you can designate a preferred faction while picking an operator. Press "1" on PC or "Left Trigger" on the controller to favor the chosen faction. In subsequent MP matches, the game will try to assign you to that faction whenever possible, allowing you to use your preferred skins more frequently.
