Following the success with other entries in the series, modder Yui has started developing a seamless co-op mod for Dark Souls 2.
Just like previous versions, this mod will introduce several gameplay adjustments — such as balance tweaks — to ensure the game doesn’t become too easy.
The modification will allow players to experience Dark Souls 2 from start to finish in full co-op.
In theory, it would even be possible to complete the entire game in a single session, assuming players have the stamina for it!
There’s no release date yet, as the project is still in early development. Yui is working on it alongside maintaining support for previous mods created for the rest of the series — and for Elden Ring as well.
Back in mid-April, Yui also released an alpha version of a similar seamless co-op mod for the original Dark Souls.
