The fresh insights, disclosed by leaker @kopite7kimi, highlight the advancement in speed from 21 Gbps in the RTX 4090 to 28 Gbps with the introduction of GDDR7 in NVIDIA's new top-tier offering, based on the Blackwell architecture. It's worth noting that this new DRAM standard has the potential to surpass this threshold, scaling up to 64 Gbit. Regarding the bus, recent rumors indicate a shift towards 384-bits, deviating from the initially speculated 512-bits.
