In the ten-minute trailer, The Great Circle promises an immersive experience with Indiana Jones as a professor, using his whip, globetrotting, and engaging in some intense Nazi punching. The game's vibes capture the essence of the iconic character, and MachineGames, the developer, seems to be elevating the pulpy action seen in the Wolfenstein series.
A surprising choice for The Great Circle is that it will be a first-person game, putting players directly in Indy's shoes. Although this might seem unexpected for such a well-known franchise, it offers a fresh perspective. While there are occasional third-person views, the primary perspective is first-person. Despite the bold choice, it allows players to experience the game in a new way, avoiding direct comparisons to other popular Indiana Jones games like Tomb Raider and Uncharted, which are both third-person action platformers.
When it comes to discussing Indiana Jones, it's impossible to ignore the shadow of Harrison Ford. The actor is so closely tied to the character, thanks to his irresistibly charming performances in every movie.
