Should I Buy a PlayStation 5?

I got a Christmas bonus at work and decided I might spend it on a PS5. I'm not sure if it's worth upgrading to a new console now, because I have a PS4 and it's still full of games, and I'm not interested in the PS5 exclusives at the moment. From a technical standpoint, I would certainly like to see improvements in the form of higher resolution and refresh rates. But is it worth it?

1. If you have a capable gaming PC, it might be best to wait until later unless there are specific PS5 games you can't wait to play.
2. If you own a Series X, again, it might be best to wait.
3. If your gaming setup consists solely of a Switch, then getting a PS5 to complement it could be a good idea.
4. If your current console is only a PS4, upgrading to the PS5 would be recommended.
