I watched Resident Alien, it's a pretty good comedy TV Series

Resident Alien surpassed my initial expectations by far! It follows the story of an extraterrestrial, portrayed by Alan Tudyk, who crashes into a quaint Colorado town and and assumes the identity of the local doctor. Originally tasked with annihilating humanity, his perspective shifts as he becomes more acquainted with the townsfolk. I think Alan Tudyk embodies the role flawlessly, leading a predominantly lesser-known cast who all deliver stellar performances, elevating themselves in the process. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it. This TV series seamlessly blends uproarious comedy with poignant moments, leaving viewers thoroughly engrossed. Before you realize it, you'll find yourself hooked on the show's charm. Intrigued by the high ratings and rave reviews, I decided to give it a chance - and I'm immensely grateful that I did. It's a unique and uproariously funny show where almost every episode ends with some special, warm, catchphrase.

I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Monopoly Go!
  • Monopoly Go! is a mobile game that launched in early 2023 and has amassed over two billion dollars in revenue since then. With over 100 million registered users and 10 million daily players, it has become a significant success.
  • In an interview with journalist Steven Totilo, Scopely studio head Javier Ferreira disclosed that the team invested nearly $500 million in promoting the game. This amount does not cover the development costs, which Ferreira mentioned amounted to about seven years in total.

  • According to Scopely, Monopoly Go! currently generates approximately $200 million in revenue each month.

News Palworld Cost About $6.7 Million To Develop - The Game Made Pocketpair Studios "Too Much Profit"

Palworld Developer
  • Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe spoke with Bloomberg about the studio's current status following the unexpected success of Palworld. Here are the key points:
  • Palworld was developed at a cost of less than one billion yen, approximately $6.7 million. Mizobe mentioned that the game has brought in "excessive profits" for the relatively small studio, which employs just 55 people. Their estimated revenue is in the "tens of billions of yen."
  • Despite Palworld's success, Pocketpair has no plans for aggressive expansion. The studio aims to maintain its small size and concentrate on producing AA titles. Mizobe expressed that blockbuster games are not the focus for his team.
  • The developers are considering porting Palworld to other platforms, as it's currently available on PC and Xbox.
  • Pocketpair is open to partnerships or mergers with other companies, but Mizobe is content with the studio's independent status for now. There have been no discussions about a potential acquisition by Microsoft.
  • Mizobe emphasized the importance of multiplayer in gaming, stating that users derive the most enjoyment when playing with friends. He finds it odd for a game to lack multiplayer functionality in today's gaming landscape.
Despite a decline in online play over time, Palworld's audience has exceeded 25 million since its release, and the developers remain unworried about this trend.
