News Arrowhead CEO on discontinuing Helldivers 2 sales on PC in three more countries: "We have no idea what's going on"

• Arrowhead CEO Johan Pihlestedt stated that the studio was unaware in advance of the discontinuation of Helldivers 2 on PC in Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia. This occurred on May 10, a few days after the action game's purchase was restricted in over 170 regions where PSN account registration is unavailable.

"We have no idea what's going on. Most developers are off for the weekend, and we only learned about the situation from our community. We want the game to be accessible worldwide," said Johan Pilestedt, Arrowhead's head.

• Pihlestedt mentioned that currently, they have no further information about the discontinuation of Helldivers 2 sales in some regions. Based on his statement, representatives from Arrowhead Studios were not notified about the upcoming restrictions. Previously, Pilestedt mentioned being in discussions with PlayStation and Valve to reinstate Helldivers 2 for sale in all regions.
• Earlier, Ghost of Tsushima was removed from sale on Steam in over 180 regions without PSN access. Subsequently, players from those countries started receiving refunds for pre-orders. Sony, Sucker Punch Productions, and Valve did not issue any statements regarding this matter.
