- Japanese manufacturer Hori introduced a wireless controller Horipad for Steam. The accessory will go on sale on October 31, 2024 at a price of 7980 yen (about $50 US). At first, the controller will be sold only in Japan.
- Hori has provided in the controller official support for the Steam input system (Steam Input). Judging by the announcement, the manufacturer received a license from Valve to release the gamepad, on which you can see the logo of the digital platform.
- The controller received a set of additional buttons for the game and quick access to frequently used functions of Steam, gyroscope, the ability to connect via Bluetooth or cable, as well as a separate button to launch the Big Picture mode.
- The controller has a battery life of about 12 hours. It takes about three and a half hours to fully charge the accessory.
- Hori has developed a special application for the controller, in which you can quickly assign various Steam or Windows functions to the buttons. The gamepad also supports the Steam Deck portable PC.
