Assassin's Creed Red Details
  • Journalist Tom Henderson, citing his own sources, has shared details about Assassin's Creed Red, set in feudal Japan.
  • For Assassin's Creed Red, Ubisoft employs an enhanced version of the Anvil engine known as Anvil Pipeline. This technology allows all of the company's studios to collaborate on the series' games within a unified framework, enabling the utilization of a common set of graphical technologies such as global lighting with ray tracing.
  • As a result of the transition to Anvil Pipeline, developers of Assassin's Creed Red were compelled to completely redesign all key aspects of the game, including animations, the parkour system, and dynamic weather changes.
  • Combat in Red bears similarities to that of Valhalla, yet it is notably more brutal, featuring increased blood and the ability to decapitate opponents.
  • Stealth mechanics play a pivotal role in Red, drawing inspiration from the Splinter Cell series. Players can extinguish torches, conceal themselves in tall grass and bushes, and lie prone on the ground to evade detection by enemies.
  • In Red, the developers have expanded upon the settlement building mechanics introduced in Valhalla. Players will have the opportunity to customize their shelter and construct additional structures such as an armory or dojo. Buildings can be extensively customized, allowing for the selection of roof designs, interior layouts, and placement of weapon and armor displays.
  • According to Henderson, the franchise is poised to undergo a significant transformation, signaling a new era for the series through the changes introduced in Red.
  • Assassin's Creed Red is expected to be revealed in the upcoming months. Previous leaks suggest that the game will feature two main characters, Naoe and Yasuke, as initially reported by French blogger and insider j0nathan.
