Remember Beck's Badasses from the Remake? Well, they're back in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Early on in the game, you'll have the opportunity to encounter them anew, engaged in a side activity within the expansive Grasslands region. Interestingly, their presence isn't confined to the early stages; expect a curious reunion with them later in the game, entangled within a rather unconventional side quest.
How To Begin Hustle And Grind
After wrapping up all the Grasslands Region Phenomenon Intel and progressing to Chapter 12 in your journey, you'll unlock the Hustle And Grind side quest.
To kick off this quest, return to the Grasslands region and make your way to the Kalm Community Noticeboard to pick it up. Within this quest, you'll once again cross paths with Beck's Business, a familiar figure from your previous encounters during the Phenomenon Intel.
As the quest commences, Beck will engage you in an interview, though your responses won't sway the game's trajectory or the quest itself. Following the interview, Beck will assign you the task of dispatching some adversaries situated on the outskirts of town, near the highway.
How To Complete The Hustle And Grind Quest
Make your way towards the designated marker on the map, where you'll come across a pack of wolves congregated in the midst of the highway. These foes shouldn't pose much of a challenge, dispatch them with ease. However, be prepared for an ambush by a gang of thugs shortly thereafter.
Among the assailants, you'll encounter a Bandit and two Devil Riders. Exploit the Devil Riders' weakness to Thunder attacks, utilizing Yuffie's Thunder Ninjutsu or equipping a Thunder Materia for optimal effectiveness.
Swiftly prioritize eliminating the Bandit with Fire spells since it boasts lower HP, enabling you to then concentrate your efforts on dealing with the remaining Devil Riders.
When confronted by the Devil Riders, employ a strategic approach by utilizing a combination of Yuffie's Lightning Ninjutsu and Cloud's Punisher Mode. Utilize guard maneuvers to intercept their attacks and unleash potent counterattacks as they draw near. Prioritize focusing your assault on one Rider at a time to effectively escalate the stagger meter, setting the stage for devastating offensive maneuvers that inflict substantial damage.
Upon vanquishing all adversaries, a cinematic sequence will unfold, culminating in the allocation of your rewards. Among these rewards are the Sharpshooter’s Companion Vol. VI, along with EXP and Party EXP. Additionally, your interaction with Barret may undergo a notable change, further shaping the dynamics of your relationship.
