Fortunately, completing this quest is a swift task if you visit any of the numerous fishing spots scattered across the island. Alternatively, for those who wish to stay dry, there's the choice of scouring specific locations where the caught fish may be stored in coolers, though this method demands more extensive exploration.

How To Catch Or Collect Fish From The Water Or A Container​

The most straightforward method to fulfill this quest is to touch down at one of the designated fishing spots on the map, acquire a fishing pole, and proceed to gather fish from the surrounding areas.

Determine if a spot has fish available by observing the splashing effect. Cast the rod by aiming, pressing the 'Fire' button, and then press it again once the bait sinks.

To track your progress, hover over the quest in your menu and press the 'Track' button. This allows you to see how many fish you still need to collect.



Fortunately, you won't need to rely on guesswork to identify the optimal fishing spots as they have been clearly marked on your map. While the container locations may not be as straightforward, you're likely to discover them at these marked spots and other areas where you typically find food.

Here is a list of the major fishing spots from west to east on Fortnite's island:

• The dock on the inlet northeast of Rebel Roost.
• The dock next to the train tracks between Ruined Reels and Pleasant Piazza.
• Loot Lake, southeast of Ruined Reels.
• The small island directly south of Fencing Fields.
• The large lake southeast of Hazy Hillside.
• The dock north of Classy Courts.
• The large lake to the east of Classy Courts.
• The large lake between Reckless Railways and Grand Glacier.

Each location is equipped with multiple barrels containing fishing poles, ensuring that both you and your squad can actively participate in the quest.



Regarding containers, fish are commonly stored in coolers or ice boxes, and you can locate them in various places such as kitchens, restaurants, camping areas, and other spots where people would typically store or prepare food.
