On May 21, an editor for creating mods is released for The Witcher 3. Before that, CD Projekt RED released a patch with Steam Workshop support for simplified installation of mods.
The developers noted that players can still use Nexus Mods or other platforms with mods, but through Steam Workshop they can be installed in a few clicks.
CD Projekt RED has also made it easier to integrate mods into the game. Particularly those that add new content rather than simply changing existing content.
