Starfield Player Recreates Iconic Halo Scorpion Tank
Whenever a game with vehicle or base-building features is released, it's almost a given that players will start recreating iconic vehicles and structures from other franchises. Shortly after the launch of Starfield, players wasted no time recreating spaceships from various games and movies, such as The Normandy from Mass Effect, The Millennium Falcon from Star Wars, and a Pelican from Halo. Notably, Starfield seems to have a dedicated community of Halo fans, as yet another remarkable recreation from the Halo series has been making waves on social media.

This time, it's not a spaceship but its polar opposite. Reddit user Lancewestwalker used the game's ship builder to painstakingly recreate Halo's iconic Scorpion Tank. They shared their creation on the Starfield Ships subreddit, featuring multiple screenshots from various angles to showcase its astonishing accuracy.

What sets this creation apart is that it was crafted entirely within the vanilla game, without any mods installed. In the Starfield community, it's common to see players use mods to remove build limits, allowing them to create enormous structures. Lancewestwalker, however, built the tank without such luxuries and had to spend their in-game currency to make it, as they didn't have access to unlimited cash mods either.

Regrettably, there aren't any images of the mammoth Scorpion Tank soaring through space, which would have been a sight to behold. Instead, we see images of it in a shipyard and on an unidentified dusty planet, underscoring the need for Starfield to introduce some form of mech or land vehicle for easier planetary exploration. While not necessarily a Scorpion Tank, a small land vehicle or buggy would be a welcome addition according to many players.

For those interested in creating the Scorpion Tank themselves, Lancewestwalker is planning to create a detailed guide on how to build it. Although it's not available just yet, they mentioned that it will be attached to the Reddit post in the near future.

In other Starfield news, some buyers of the game's Collector's Edition have reported issues with the included watches breaking only one month after the game's release. Customer service appears to be of limited help, with Bethesda reportedly refusing to replace or repair the watches, leaving some disappointed collectors frustrated.
