Tocotoco’s Explosions Are Actually Quite Easy To Manage
Tocotocos are like walking bombs in Palworld, thanks to their habit of charging at the player character and detonating using their Implode Skill. Dealing with these toucan-like Pals can be incredibly tense, especially since a whole flock (known as a Tocotoco Implode Unit) could easily decimate someone's Palworld base. However, a Tocotoco's self-destruct is based on a fixed timer, which can actually be reset by hitting or shooting the Pal in a way that staggers it. By doing this repeatedly, you can delay the explosion long enough to defeat or capture the Pal.
Moreover, attacks with disruptive effects, such as shocking or freezing, can also interfere with the timer linked to a Tocotoco's Implode ability.
Stunning A Tocotoco Is Easy With The Right Equipment And Pals
