One of the participants of the alpha-testing of the team-based PvP-shooter Deadlock published a three-minute video in which he showed the gameplay of the game. In the video the author demonstrated the basic mechanics and gave some tips for beginners.
In Deadlock, the goal of players is to destroy the fortress of opponents. During each match you have to fight on four lines, destroy towers and kill creeps that give experience. Each dead monster has a soul that flies out of it. If you shoot it, it will give you additional experience. The souls of allied creeps can also be killed to make the enemies pump slower.
In the game location you can find crates with items and reinforcements for the character, for example, to heal or reduce the recharge time of spells. Buildings also contain "forest creeps" from which you can get souls.
All team members receive a passive skill for destroying each tower. Perks are available for purchase in the store, and active skills can be pumped.
Valve has not announced Deadlock yet. The company has not commented on the numerous leaks about the game, which appeared in May.
