The First Descendant, a free-to-play action game from Nexon, was released on July 2. The developers call the game a "next-generation looter-shooter", which runs on Unreal Engine 5.
The First Descendant supports co-op for four players, who need to fight huge monsters that threaten humanity. There are also story missions.
In the first hours after the release The First Descendant online in Steam exceeded 170 thousand simultaneous players.
At the same time the game still has 53% positive feedback: the first players criticized optimization and bugs with in-game currency purchase.
The game is currently in its preliminary season, and the first season will start in early August. At the same time, new content will start to be actively added to the game.
The game is also available on two generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
