Persona 3 Reload: Red Sigil Weakness (How to Beat)
The Yabbashah Area in Tartarus is where you encounter tougher foes in Persona 3 Reload. Unlike earlier areas like Thebel and Arqa, here you'll need sturdy gear, strong weapons, and the right party members to exploit enemy weaknesses.

In one of the Monad Doors within Yabbashah, you'll face the Red Sigil boss. It can disrupt your team and block your attacks, so readiness is vital. Here are some battle tips to help you out.

Where to Find Red Sigil in Persona 3 Reload
In Persona 3 Reload, you'll encounter the Red Sigil boss exclusively within the Yabbashah Block of Tartarus, specifically behind a Monad Door. These doors can pop up randomly between Floors 70 and 92. They're distinct from Monad Passages, and typically, you'll only find one boss behind them.

For instance, we stumbled upon a Monad Door on Floor 88 housing the Red Sigil boss. You'll receive a notification on the top right of your screen alerting you to the presence of a Monad Door on the floor. You can open these doors without completing previous ones. However, be aware that you might encounter the Elegant Mother or the Phantom Mage boss instead, so keep exploring for more Monad Doors until you find the Red Sigil.

In the battle against the Red Sigil boss, it's crucial to be mindful of its weaknesses and resistances:
  • Weakness: Ice
  • Drain: Fire

For this encounter, steer clear of using Fire attacks altogether and focus on using Ice instead. Mitsuru is an excellent choice for this boss battle because most of her attacks are Ice-based. She possesses potent moves like Bufula and Mabufu, which can knock down the Red Sigil, setting it up for an All-Out Attack.

Also, remember that the Red Sigil will inflict Rage on your team, so it's wise to bring along a character who can cure this status ailment or pack some restorative items. Yukari can cast Me Patra, which heals the entire team of Rage and other status ailments.

Whenever the opportunity arises to unleash your team's Theurgy Attacks, seize it. These attacks can significantly expedite the battle, likely defeating the boss in just a few strikes, especially when combined with an All-Out Attack. Overall, as long as you have access to Ice attacks, defeating the Red Sigil boss shouldn't pose much of a challenge.
