What Is Blue Grass?

 What Is Blue Grass?

Blue grass can be likened to a turbocharged variant of typical green grass. It accelerates the affection levels of your farm animals at twice the normal rate, resulting in expedited production of top-quality goods.

When incorporating blue grass into your farm layout or arranging coop space, ensure it's easily accessible to your animals; otherwise, they won't be able to graze on it.

How To Find And Get Blue Grass

How To Find And Get Blue Grass

You can acquire blue grass through two methods: either by selecting the Meadowlands Farm at the beginning of your game or by purchasing the Blue Grass Starter Recipe from Qi's shop on Ginger Island.

Naturally With The Meadowlands Farm Type

If you opt for the Meadowlands Farm at the outset, you're in for a stroke of luck. Blue grass naturally grows and regenerates during the Fall, Spring, and Summer seasons. This method is quite straightforward, demanding nothing more than time and patience. It stands as the simplest approach, contrasting with the alternative, which can be somewhat intricate and necessitates reaching a late-game stage where Qi's Ginger Island shop is available, along with unlocked foraging mastery.

Crafting Blue Grass Starters

For those who prefer a more hands-on approach, a trip to Qi’s Walnut Room at Ginger Island is in order to purchase the Blue Grass Starter Recipe. Armed with this blueprint, you can create Blue Grass Starters to plant on your farm, similar to green grass. Over time, these patches of grass will gradually expand and spread to adjacent tiles across your farm. While you can plant them during Winter, they won't extend to neighboring tiles.

The trickiest aspect of the Blue Grass Starter recipe lies in obtaining Blue Syrup, which is acquired by tapping blue trees. However, you can only access the recipe for these blue tree seeds once you've unlocked foraging mastery.
