Previously restricted to just one furry companion, players can now expand their menagerie to include various animals, such as the charming Turtle. How To Get A Pet Turtle​

Acquiring a pet turtle in Stardew Valley is a breeze, as long as you have a bit of extra cash to spare. Here's a simple guide on how to welcome your new shelled companion into the game.

Befriend Your First Pet​

To initiate the adoption process for a new pet in Stardew Valley, it's essential to showcase responsible pet ownership by prioritizing the care of your current pet. Show your dedication by consistently filling its water bowl every day and showering it with affection through regular petting sessions. By nurturing a strong bond with your current pet, you pave the way for welcoming a new furry or scaly friend into your home.

Unlock The Second Pet Slot​

Once your friendship level with your current pet reaches its maximum, a heartwarming message will pop up, indicating your pet's deep affection for you. To progress further and unlock the opportunity for a second pet, follow these steps:

• Visit Robin's Carpentry Shop.
• Purchase a Pet Bowl from Robin's inventory.
• This purchase will require 5,000 gold and 25 Hardwood.
• Acquiring the Pet Bowl grants you the ability to expand your furry family by welcoming a second pet into your home.

Visit Marnie’s Ranch​

Turtles are available for adoption at Marnie's Ranch. Pay Marnie a visit and initiate a conversation, then select the "Adopt Pets" option. From there, you'll be presented with two turtle options:

• Regular Turtle priced at 60,000 Gold.
• Purple Turtle available for 500,000 Gold.

Please note that Marnie's Ranch operates between 9 am and 4 pm from Wednesday to Sunday. The Ranch remains closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and during Festival Days.

Once you've made your selection and completed the purchase, Marnie will arrange for your chosen turtle to be sent directly to your farm. Then, you can enjoy bonding with your new, sturdy-shelled companion at your leisure.
